To further cultivate a spirit of teamwork and carry forward the local "red culture," Anhui Huayu Cable Group organized a distinctive team-building activity for select sales professionals on October 7. The activity sites were carefully selected from multiple locations in Wuwei-each possessing profound historical significance and distinctive local cultural characteristics-including the corporate Party-building exhibition hall, the Wuwei Migong Ancestral Hall, the Rural Revitalization Research Institute, the Kaicheng Scenic Area of the thousand-year-old ancient town, and the Revolutionary History Memorial Hall of the New Fourth Army Anti-Japanese Base in Sangong Mountain. Company leaders, including Ye Mingzhu, Party Branch Secretary and Chairman of Anhui Huayu Cable Group; Huang Xuejun, Party-building instructor; Ye Yu, General Manager; and Song Yuan, Vice President of Marketing, along with over twenty sales representative delegates, participated in this team-building event.

The event commenced with the Huayu Party Building Exhibition Hall. Ye Mingzhu, Secretary of the Company's Party Branch and Chairman, expressed his earnest hope that the sales professionals would experience the empowering role of Party building within the context of "red culture." The history, culture, and spirit of Wuwei constitute invaluable assets; he urged the sales professionals to gain a deeper understanding of Wuwei, so that while successfully selling cable products, they could also better showcase and promote their hometown's cultural identity and its distinctive humanistic charm.

Subsequently, the team drove to the Migong Ancestral Hall in Wucheng Town, Wuwei City-a residence of the renowned Northern Song Dynasty calligrapher and painter Mi Fu during his tenure as the military governor of Wuwei. From the third year of the Chongning era to the first year of the Daguan era of the Northern Song Dynasty (1104–1107), Mi Fu served as the military governor of Wuwei, earning widespread admiration for his upright governance style and his deep concern for the people of the region; he also left behind timeless anecdotes, such as "Throwing the inkstone to stop the frog" and "Mi Fu bowing before the stone." Today, the Migong Ancestral Hall serves not only as a place to commemorate Mi Fu but also as an important platform for inheriting and promoting the fine traditional Chinese culture. Every year, a steady stream of visitors comes to this site to experience the artistic charm of Mi Fu and be inspired by his integrity.

Following the guide's directions, visitors toured key heritage sites-including the Baojinzhai Stele Gallery, the Ink Pool, the Inkstone Pavilion, and the Worship Stone-while closely examining over 160 renowned stele inscriptions from the Jin and Tang dynasties housed within the temple complex. Through the guide's narration, visitors gained deeper insight into Mi Fu's historical legacy during his tenure as an official in Wuwei, including his concern for the people's well-being and his dedicated pursuit of calligraphy and painting, thereby immersing themselves in the unique charm of a millennia-old calligraphic culture.

Subsequently, we visited the Wuwei Rural Revitalization Industry Research Institute-a joint agricultural science and technology platform established by Anhui Agricultural University and the city of Wuwei, which primarily provides scientific research, technology extension, and talent cultivation services to local agricultural industries. Accompanied by staff from the Wuwei Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, we toured the institute's research center, training center, laboratories, and exhibition hall; watched a video overview of Wuwei's rural revitalization efforts; observed displays of selected aquatic products and their specimens; and listened to presentations on the development of prominent local leading enterprises. Through this visit, we gained a comprehensive understanding of Wuwei's explorations, efforts, and achievements in implementing the rural revitalization strategy. We also toured exhibitions featuring distinctive and high-quality new agricultural products-such as Wuwei white tea, Ziyue blueberries, and selenium-enriched sesame oil-thereby experiencing firsthand the innovative approaches and remarkable outcomes in rural revitalization, exemplified by the integration of scientific research into field operations and the use of industrial development to boost household incomes.

After a brief midday break, accompanied by the warm hospitality of Secretary Wang of the Kaicheng Town Party Committee, we visited several sites, including the Dudu Village Tea Culture Experience Center, the Xijiuhua Scenic Area, and the Maogong Mountain Slow Living Experience Zone. Strolling through the tea gardens, the tender green leaves shimmered with an alluring luster under the sunlight, and the delicate fragrance of the tea instantly evoked a sense of serenity and well-being. The Maogong Reservoir stood like a radiant pearl embedded within this verdant landscape; standing by its shores and gazing at the calm waters reflecting the surrounding mountains and trees, one felt as if they were immersed in a beautiful painting. At the same time, this experience brought to life the image of Kaicheng-a millennia-old ancient town rich in history-where its profound cultural heritage and the remarkable achievements of its rural revitalization efforts deeply moved us, further strengthening our conviction and determination to better understand Wuwei and promote the image of our hometown.

"A bridge spans the flowing waters; on both banks stand pavilions bathed in the setting sun" -this poetic line, drawn from "Kaicheng Bridge" by the Qing Dynasty poet Xu Hui, vividly captures the rustic charm and serene ambiance of Kaicheng Town. Situated in central Anhui Province, Kaicheng boasts an extensive network of waterways and a long history; it not only possesses picturesque natural landscapes but also carries profound revolutionary cultural heritage. The Kaicheng Bridge tightly connects the two banks of the river. Although the docks along the bridge have stood for over a millennium, and the bustling scenes of boats coming and going from the past can no longer be replicated, we still seem to glimpse the vibrant imagery of villagers traversing the docks and markets in ancient times. Today, while preserving its traditional water-town character, Kaicheng has also embraced a fresh visage of rural development in the modern era. Leveraging its abundant ecological resources and rich cultural history, the town has fostered rural tourism and ecological agriculture, integrating natural scenery with contemporary leisure experiences. Visitors can thus appreciate both the natural beauty of "lucid mountains and crystal waters" and the profound transformations and vibrant vitality unfolding across this land.

Our final stop was the Sancong Mountain Scenic Area in Kunshan Town, a destination boasting breathtaking natural scenery, rolling peaks, and lush, verdant forests. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Sancong Mountain served as a crucial operational base for the Seventh Division of the New Fourth Army, where countless revolutionary forebears left behind their indelible footprints of arduous combat. Upon entering the Exhibition Hall of Revolutionary Historical Sites of the Sancong Mountain Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Base, we had the privilege of meeting Zuo Hua-president of the New Fourth Army Historical Research Association of Wuwei City (who previously served as vice chairman of the Wuwei Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and deputy director of the Municipal People's Congress). He vividly recounted the tumultuous years when revolutionary forebears fought bloodily and steadfastly defended their positions in the Sancong Mountain region, systematically reconstructing that grand and unyielding struggle against all odds. We followed the historical narrative closely, carefully examining the revolutionary artifacts, precious historical photographs, and comprehensive documentary materials on display. Throughout the tour, we remained solemn and deeply focused, pausing frequently to study the details of the exhibits. Through this silent dialogue with history, we gained profound insights into the weight and hardships of those revolutionary years, drawing spiritual strength from our revolutionary predecessors. This spirit, like brilliant stars, transcends the barriers of time and space to illuminate our path forward, inspiring us to cherish even more the hard-won blessings of our present life.

Following the visit, the team convened a thematic symposium. Still immersed in the positive atmosphere of the event, participants exchanged their insights and key takeaways, and actively contributed ideas and suggestions to support the differentiated development of Huayu Group. Many participants emphasized that, as sales personnel of a local enterprise, they should not only effectively market their cable products but also serve as "promoters" of their hometown-integrating the profound historical and cultural heritage, distinctive industrial specialties, and revolutionary narratives of Wuwei into their business engagements, thereby leveraging their regional identity to bolster customer trust. At the same time, they called for moving beyond a mindset of low-price competition and instead relying on the company's strengths in technology, quality, and certifications to pursue a value-based competitive strategy. They also urged teams to abandon the habit of operating in isolation, instead fostering internal information and resource sharing, collaborating to overcome challenges, and collectively forging a high-performance sales force. In alignment with their 2026 objectives, participants pledged to address their operational shortcomings, continuously enhance their technical understanding, strategic planning capabilities, and customer management skills, and translate the inspirational lessons gained from this team-building activity into concrete actions to expand their market presence-thereby contributing their part to the high-quality development of Huayu Cable Group.
