This 11kV copper cable is designed for medium-voltage power distribution where stable electrical performance, insulation protection and mechanical durability all need to be considered together.
The cable uses a Class 2 copper conductor with XLPE insulation. The insulation system includes conductor shielding and insulation shielding, followed by a copper tape metal shield. A galvanized steel wire armor provides additional mechanical protection, while the outer sheath is made from UV-resistant, flame-retardant LSZH material.

Key Features
The XLPE insulation system is designed for medium-voltage operation and provides the electrical insulation required between the conductor and the surrounding layers.
The copper tape shield forms part of the cable's electrical shielding system. It also provides a defined metallic layer around the insulated cores, which is important when the cable is used in a medium-voltage distribution system.
