Products Description

 

This XLPE insulated medium voltage cable is designed for fixed power distribution in industrial plants, commercial facilities and infrastructure projects. It features a Class 2 aluminum conductor, XLPE insulation, PVC inner sheath, galvanized steel tape armor and a flame-retardant PVC outer sheath.

The XLPE insulation provides stable electrical performance at continuous conductor temperatures of up to 90°C. The steel tape armor adds mechanical protection, making the cable suitable for installations where the cable route may be exposed to external pressure or impact.

 

Steel Tape Armor for Added Mechanical Protection

The steel tape armor provides protection around the cable core against external mechanical forces during installation and service. It is well suited to fixed cable routes where additional protection is needed but a heavier armor construction is not necessary.

The flame-retardant PVC outer sheath protects the cable from the surrounding environment while providing the required flame-retardant performance for applicable installations.
