Marine-rated cable is cable certified for use aboard ships and offshore installations. Designed to withstand the unique harsh marine environment for power, control or signal circuits. It must satisfy marine classification society requirements, not ordinary industrial cable.

A: Not recommended. This cable is built for power and simple control, not instrument signal transmission.
