Products Description

BS 5308 is a British industry standard for instrumentation cables, commonly seen in process plants and marine installations.

It covers both multicore and multipair cable types, mainly for low-level control signals like 4-20mA. This standard sets clear requirements for shielding, capacitance, insulation resistance and crosstalk, to preserve signal quality where electromagnetic noise is high.

Cables complying with BS 5308 are widely used on vessels and offshore units. Different shielding options are available to match site anti-interference needs.
